UNOH Hosts Premiere Party for The College Tour Episode

The University of Northwestern Ohio celebrated a major milestone during Welcome Week with the premiere of its very own episode of The College Tour, filmed on campus earlier this year. The event, held at Racers Station, was packed with enthusiastic students who clapped and cheered as each new segment introduced a fellow classmate and cast member.

The College Tour series was created by Alex Boylan, Lisa Hennessy, and Burton Roberts, a team of successful entrepreneurs in the TV, social media, and technology space, known for pursuing their passion for adventure and their love for storytelling. UNOH's episode of “The College Tour” tells the story of 10 students and alumni as they share what life is like as a Racer. They highlight campus activities, athletics, industry connections, and real-world experiences that prepare them for the workforce following graduation.

The evening kicked off with a keynote from The College Tour host, Alex Boylan, who encouraged students to embrace every opportunity by saying “yes,” stepping outside their comfort zones, and taking full advantage of the unique hands-on learning experiences at UNOH. Boylan, who has visited hundreds of campuses, described UNOH as “one of the coolest colleges with unbelievable access to real-world jobs immediately after graduation.”

After the keynote, the premiere screening brought cheers, laughter, and celebrations as students saw their peers, friends, and professors featured on the big screen. Following the 30-minute episode, each cast member was introduced and awarded their very own star by Alex and UNOH’s beloved mascot, Torque.

During a live Q&A, Boylan spoke individually with the cast members about their decision to attend UNOH, their experiences on campus, and their career goals. Cast members shared advice with fellow students, encouraging them to get involved, join or start clubs, seek internships, build networks, and explore their passions. Their message was clear: college is the time to spread your wings — and at UNOH, those passions can become careers.

UNOH’s full episode of The College Tour, part of Season 15, will stream on Amazon Prime beginning December 4th. The episode and individual cast member segments can also be viewed on the UNOH website and TheCollegeTour.com.
